Why is it so quiet then?

I want to play it, but probably won't be able to get it for a while. Too damn busy right now.-jay

It's quiet because everybody's playing it.

I'm kind of soaking it in before playing it, myself.

Seems like people are just quiet, when it comes to enjoying Metroid. I've got to wait a long time to get my hands on a copy, unfortunately. Damn this Australian Wii.

Spoiler Below
the opening sequence? epic. My jaw actually dropped when the Meta Ridley fight started. also, the game's unbelievably pretty. the level of detail left me staring at the wall and floor textures for way beyond acceptable lengths of time. I'm now stuck on the section of the first planet with the eight grapple-able tiles, wondering what in the hell to do.

also, it somehow sucks battery life away three times as fast as any other wii game I've played. I know I haven't played it for so long as to knock my battery life from four bars to one bar.

I'm really psyched to see the game in motion, outside of the usual crappy over-compressed mpegs that are floating around the net. The only opinion I'd heard of MP3 (heh.. mp3..) before hand was from TML, who just didn't think it looked that great. I'm glad to hear someone's giving the gfx the thumbs up.

Um, guys, that post really had no spoilers, aside from the Meta Ridley part, but we already knew about that for a long time...

I did...something...so I can't play it again till Friday. >_>

Just got the Command Visor activated. Neato, the ship can now be moved.

I wonder how it will retain the Metroid feel since they incorporated the ship navigation system, which seems similar to Hunters.

Okay, I picked the game up today? It is friging AWESOME. I wasn't that excited about it, but even though I'm not that far in yet I can already tell that it's made out of pure ass-kick. Simply put, it exceeds my expectations and then some.

BTW, what the heck do friend vouchers do?

Gonna need to use my old metroid sig for this one...

Can't go playing US games on AU systems without some sort of convertor.

I just got the ship upgrade. The Rundas fight was actually a bit of a challenge.
