Sweet fan game being made with the Super Metroid engine.

Metroid: SR388.

Seems to be a complete remake of Metroid 2, or possibly a new game, set on the same planet. All I know is that it looks amazing.

Lookin' good.

I can only hope they come out with it in a timely fashion--these have a tendency to get delayed and/or cancelled. X_X

I have a good feeling about this one. Did you notice all the new graphical effects? That had to take some serious time and effort to program in. And adding new moves?
This is clearly the work of somebody that's not only extremly devoted, but also really knows what they're doing.
If Nintendo doesn't pull the plug, I think we can definately expect this one to be finished.

I'm thinking it's not actually using the SNES engine, but it's a recreation of it for the PC. Irregardless, cool.

Yeah, just go ahead and crush everyone's dreams like that.

Just Crush them.

It may exist, though it may not be as visually appealing as it looks <_<

I don't see why someone would go to the trouble of creating new sprite animations and designing levels just to fake a video.
