Who's the toughest boss?

Post which boss you think is the toughest, and why.

I'd say Draygon, hands down. Without knowing about the gravity beam trick, that sucker just takes a crapload of damage and keeps coming. I wouldn't recommend fighting fair, if you're up against that thing.

You know, I've still never played 'Super Metroid'. I should. Hell, it's only been on VC for a year and a half---I'm going to go download it right now.

I've only fought Draygon with the grapple trick. Haven't tried "hard mode" yet.

The Spider and...Spider Guardian pissed me off, in recent memory. And now I realize they both have "spider" in their name. Huh.

^ The one in Metroid: Fusion is a pain until you figure out its pattern. I don't think that thing even touches me, these days.

But it was only because I was having so much trouble with that damn boss, so yeah, I'd have to agree with you on that.

Chozo Ghosts are annoying because they keep coming back, but they weren't that bad imo. Pretty good at freaking me out, though, in a "LOOK OUT HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU" kind of way.

Ridley in Metroid Prime is about the hardest 'new Metroid game' boss I can think of (since we already have representatives for the old Metroid games.) He continues to attack you even as you're blasting him with your worst attacks, flies out of range, and chases you everywhere.

Sort of like Draygon.

Ironically, he becomes easier in MP 3 because he doesn't move as much and you have better aiming/unfair tools.

I'd say Super Metroid Ridley, if only because he has no 'easy method' like Draygon does; I always die at least once on Ridley.

i also hate mognegar on mp3, he seems straightforward but he has like 50 annoying quirks in his behavior (like jumping on top of you with no chance to avoid it while trying to hit he back orb.) that **** me up to no end.

^I found that guy pretty annoying too. Not so much in my recent play-through of MP3, though.
