S&P2 already came out in Japan though, so what would be up with that delay?

Confirmed: Sin & Punishment and Metroid: Other M Delayed

Nintendo fans looking forward to Metroid: Other M and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor are going to have to wait just a bit longer. A day after rumors emerged that the two games had been delayed, Nintendo issued a confirmation along with new release dates.

Originally slated for June 27, Metroid: Other M is now due at the end of August. Sin & Punishment will be moving back from the beginning of June to take Metroid's place.

The news doesn't entirely negate what looks to be a fairly busy summer for Nintendo. Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be kicking the season off with a May 23 release date.

Look for Metroid: Other M on August 31, with Sin & Punishment to launch June 27.

Damn it.

OMG! I figured out the the plot of M:OM!!1!

I don't know why it never occured to me before. Clearly this game focuses on the battle against this "OTHER METROID" that they've left us wondering about for so long. We must stop it's invasion!
