Annoying Things

I've been playing some Metroid games lately, and some things have just bugged me.

Super
-Maridia is just...creepy. "Underwater area, this can't be too bad!" is what I'm thinking. Then the music starts and I can feel my soul slowly getting chipped away. The music proceeds to get creepier.
-Then, Draygon appears and it's clear that Maridia was a descent into madness.

Prime(also Fusion)
-Varia Fusion Suit makes me cry bloody tears. I think AI was generous when he called the Fusion Suit "fruity".
-Meanwhile at Retro..."People are sequence breaking this game? WE MUST FIX THIS."

Prime2
-Ammo for Beams is...annoying. I get too cautious when using anything other than the Power Beam. This may be a problem on my part.

-Language gates everywhere!
-The Luminoth have the worst luck. They move in...and there's an planetary energy crisis. That gets resolved and...a meteor strikes and completely screws up the world. It also creates an alternative dimension that hogs half of the energy. Also, as a bonus they get attacked and almost wiped out by the Ing. After Samus leaves they all probably got the plague or something.
-...oh, and is everything on Aether made of Denzium or something? This planet should explode when I use a Power Bomb. Nice choice of planet, Luminoth.

Other M
-Stop closing off paths, damn you! This is especially bad in the end-game, where you have to go all around the station...because one path gets closed off.
-Gravity Feature is disappointing. I find that part of the fun of getting a new suit is new designs or colours. It helps show that you are much stronger than you were before. I think Prime, Super Metroid and Shadow Complex are good examples. In Other M, you look exactly the same as a player who's only 1/2 through the game or so. Oh, but unless you're in water!

-Why am I not authorized to use non-killing technology, like the Varia Suit or Space Jump? Will it make everyone else feel inadequate?
-Final Boss and Ending feels...anti-climatic.

Enough whining about colours from me. What do you think?

I wouldn't say the Maridia thing in Super is annoying, so much as oh god they made this game so intense. That said, I've actually never played passed that myself, so who knows, maybe it is more annoying than I give it credit (both my save files were wiped around that point in the game due to non-functioning cart battery).

I hate everything about the authorisation bull in Other M. I would have shot Adam in the face then sassily declared, "Authorise that, mofo," then strutted off to clearly save the day like I had always otherwise done just fine on my own thank you very much. I GET what they were doing. I don't have to like the fact that they took the most competent, capable, and strong female character in gaming and made her some tittering fool because this arrogant ass happened to be in my way when I showed up.
