i wonder if the scrolling have stucked in vertical scroll mode, but im not really convinced about that either as you don't start to loop when you goes through the screen in other places.

But then again, it can be a "leftover" from the kid icarus build on the engine.

I just tried it on a ROM and it froze, so it might actually do that on the cart. I'll try it sometime.
