| Member Join Date: Aug 2002 Gender: Posts: 778 Thanks: 30 Thanked 6 Times in 6 Posts | The X probably were all over the planet, since the Metroids preyed apon them. however seeing as though metroids are rendered weak by cold, it makes since that the X would congregate at the poles of the planet doesn't it? They would most likely go there to avoid the Metroids. |

(It mentions afterward that 'the specimens brought back have been infested' ... but this is after the whole dealie with the suit turning into the SA-X. The suit was the first thing.) It is sort of Samus' fault that the X came into dominance once again, but it must be said that she certainly didn't intend or forsee it coming, and it was an accident stemming from a noble goal. (Think of that next time you wipe out a whole species sans one, Ms. Aran! XD) But she more than made up for that error, and no one save for herself suffered due to her actions (well, and the creatures on the Space Lab and the scientists... but they don't count. >_> ![]() |
