Should be my third time. I got to wondering which 'Troid games you've all beaten the most?

I did Zero Mission I think 4 times, and I've probably beaten Super Metroid even more than that, although the time spent between sessions was much greater than the other games.

Other than, I think I've beaten Metroid once, and always get stuck somewhere in Return of Samus. Just recently owned me some Prime.. and I'll be finishing Prime 2 in due time.

I'm not the greatest at Metroid games, I do admit that. The only ending I've sen is for Fusion when a friend who is two grades older than me beat it. I've come close in Metroid NES, Prime, and Prime 2, but not good enough to beat them. =/

What's your trouble? Like, if you've ever played Fusion, it's practically impossible not to make it to the end. The game just orders you around.

I've beat all the Gameboy ones (Metroid 2, Zero Mission, and Fusion) twice, the rest only once (except for the original Metroid). Currently replaying Metroid Prime though.

Only Metroids I've ever finished were Super Metroid and Fusion. Super, I think I've done about three times, and Fusion only once. I liked Super. Fusion was limp and lame.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

I've beaten all the recent Metroids 2 or 3 times. That's Fusion, Zero Mission, Prime 1 and 2. I've tried some of the original Metroid, but it was far too hard. Never played 2 or Super.

Three words

Bloody spider boss. I got stuck on that one for ages until I got the trick for it.

The spider boss sucked if you didn't know what to do. Basically you just curl up in a ball and spend the whole game in the left corner. If he grabs you, switch over to the control pad with both thumbs, and press back and forth really fast, he drops you almost immediately. By the end, you should still have enough missiles and health to kill it by firing madly into the air. Those stupid core-X things you had to kill afterwards were the worst part of a boss fight. After going through the frustration of killing one of the more difficult bosses, you'd have to fight one of those things in some tiny room.. Meh, but Fusion wasn't really as balanced feeling as Super or Zero Mission, all the same. For the record, I just beat ZM again yesterday.

*GASP* I am back!

I beat the following games out of the series:

Metroid Zero Mission (4 times)
Metroid Prime (3 times)
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes (2 times)
Super Metroid (undeterminable times)
Metroid Fusion (10 times with the secret message 3 times)

yeah, I went out of my way three times to get the secret message on the cart... boy were my friends shocked...

Just reading how to get the secret message on Gamefaqs makes my mind boggle. That's great you got it three times.

As for Metroid games I've beaten. a few times each. Just beat Fusion now.

I just beat Metroid Prime 2 again, so that puts me at beating every game twice except for Super Metroid and Pinball (once each) and still have not played the original Metroid...

Like I said, I wasn't the one playing.

And Super Metroid, it would be a good game IF I knew were to go after getting the freaking Ball Bomb.

I'm getting near the end of Prime, though. Huzzah. That will finally be up with Metroid the original. (Metroid II we'll wait and see. I don't like the frame rate on there yet.)

You bomb the far left wall at the top of the first vertical passage inside of Zebes. There, now GO. Seriously, you have to at least try to explore, man.

Yeah, yeah. I'll get to that now.

I've beaten Prime, anyway. Ugh, only what, 68% scans? I suck at that.

And I don't want to go back to scan. I'm already scared to sleep thanks to that stupid Metroid Prime.

I know how you feel. It's really not worth it to scan everything, in my opinion. It sort of takes you out of the atmosphere of the game, anyway. Good luck with Super Metroid, I really love that game.

^ Technology is handy.

I know I've beaten Zero Mission at least once since I started this topic. I plan on doing Super Metroid again sometime soon. I'm not really the type to start counting for each, though. Curiosity kinda drove me to ask everyone else, though.
