i'm sure you will get the songs on the game, but like the ps2 for guitar hero 2, can u get custom playlists? without extra gear? i mean, no modding chips, memory cards, or any of that crap?

You couldn't get custom playlists on the PS2 version either. So no.

ya they can, go to youtube.com, and look up songs that wernt oringinally featured on gh2, it also says you can on many games.
