Too Human

Has anyone even really play this game, yet? I was able to play it and my thoughts upon it was that it's a okay game.

I think they had it really pretty good until whoever makes the controls got ahold of that. Good God, seriously? It's fighting is like Ninja Gaiden's camera.

Yeah, I found myself going nuts because of the camera in the game.

Zoom the camera out off of the default. I didn't have a problem with it after that.

I wasn't actually talking about the camera, I thought that was fine.

I thought the controls were fine. I don't like button jamming in action games. I'm lazy. You can pull off really cool combos in Ninja Gaiden or DMC, but you have to be a fighting game expert to successfully pull them off. Here, I can just tap the right stick and pull off some insane looking moves. I likened it to more of a semi-automatic action title, ala Diablo, and I thought that worked.

I dunno, I personally thought attacking with something I'm used to using to move the camera was silly. If they made it to where you can change the settings I'd be more inclined to try it again.

I liked it, as I often get burnt out on typical action title control schemes. I usually stop using the fighting-game style combo moves in favor of simple 3 hit combos after the first level.

I guess I just figured there would be a decent fighting aspect to a hyped up game. The WoW-type no-skill fighting is fine on some games, but I expected at least some effort on SK's part. Eh.

I went in expecting more Diablo than Ninja Gaiden, which is probably why I'm happy with the no-skill controls. I like the semi-automatic thing for dungeon grinders.

I thought it was going to be like a Third-Person Oblivion. Not with that amount of detail, but standard blocks and attacks with the triggers. Most people are used to using the right analog as a camera-control, like me.
