That's because I've been too busy playing it. But, if you want my rant... Just awesome. I haven't played the Elder Scrolls or any Fallout game before, but I can tell this was probably a great move. Huge world, great quests, excellent combat (VATS mode is incredible), brilliant level system, and... Well, now I want to continue my game. Level 15 and I need to get close to 20 so I can think about wrapping up the game. Then I can start over for a neutral karma path. |

Honestly, though, the Pitt seems like a great place, except for one detail WARNING: HUUUUUUGE SPOILERS The whole karma system is out of whack. Why have karma in this area IN THE FIRST PLACE? You either have to kidnap a baby like some maniac or you have to slaughter some slaves. To make things worse, Ashur is actually a pretty neat guy. His view on the Brotherhood of Steel is very similar to the view of the Brotherhood from the previous Fallout games, where they were more controversial amongst the people of the wasteland. In 3, they're made into the good-doers of all, but Ashur gives a much better view of them as maniacs of technology. Then again, I suppose the Outcasts are also a lot like the original Brotherhood of the Vault Dweller and Chosen One's age. Overall, though, it was a lot of fun, and it's nice to be able to return to the Pitt after finishing, unlike Operation: Anchorage. |
