Halo, Call of Duty, or Gears of War

Which series is better? Halo, Call of Duty, or Gears of War?

I'm for Halo. It has a awesome game editor and has a good online play. Cod is to realistic you get shot a few times you die. Gears is too bloody.

Gears. I never got to play Call of Duty 4 really and I'm never gonna really get a com to run it so I'm not really interested in it anymore. Despite the fact I vowed to play that game on my own PC one day.

Besides, seems like a new game already came out.

Anyway, I liked the first gears for the first 2 and a half acts I played. I have yet to play the 2nd half of it and the second game but I like the atmosphere of the first so I choose Gears.

Back on topic.

Halo is a good game but it's grossly overrated.

Gears of War 1 was okay but it was far from my favorite.

Call of Duty (4) is the only one listed I bothered playing more then once...

Now if we we're talking about all time best shooters...Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark say hi.

Turok: Rage Wars was awesome.

I dislike FPSes generally, but CoD 4 and Turok: RW made me think twice, at least momentarily.

Goldeneye was pretty good.

I loooooove Fallout 3, although it's kinda pushing the term FPS.

But in absolute FPS terms, the Half Life series. No argument. Seriously, don't argue with me on this point. If you do, you're a soulless commie.

Half Life is pretty good.

Much better then Halo and Gears of Gore.

Not to mention, G-Mod is possibly the best thing to happen to any game.

All three have their strengths and weaknesses.

+ Halo has a ridiculous fanbase, so you'll never be looking for a game for long.

- Alot of them are kids, so you might as well not even try in the online unless you're in an good party.

+ Gears has always had the quality campaign, and co-op really helps it. Horde is quite fun as well.

- The online mode is absolute garbage and Epic should be ashamed of themselves. How ****ing hard is it to patch silly little glitches that every game has at release, and to fix the matchmaking. No Cliff. I do not want to play Warzone and Assassination, just because you get to "lol killn nubs". The gametypes are a world apart and anyone with more than 17 braincells knows it. You might as well make everything CTF and Annex, at least we'd be able to pick without some bastard kid crying because he didn't get the game he wanted. That crying shouldn't even be there, because that kid should have been able to select Warzone, instead of being forced into Execution.

+ CoD has always had a good campaign, (except 3), and the four-player co-op on WaW is even better. Replay value is quite high.

- Alot of the players online have little to no skill. Most of the time you try to use any sort of tactic, your team is likely to go "lol flashbang where lemme see". Not really a problem with the game, and easily solved with a good party.

+ The Single Player is awesome.

+ There is no Multiplayer, so there is no chance to screw it up.
