They're nicer than some companies that just fry/brick your electronics (Sat/cable company pirate box purge/apple's jailbroken iPhones). They prevent you from going on live. |

And that's not even an arrangmenet I was given a chance to reject. More to the point, you didn't pay for the right to use it unconditionally.
