That's basically my take on the series. I don't like the horror genre because pretty much every horror game out there is terrible. They have great concepts but spoil it by making me scavenge for ammo for like 5 hours (RE, all of its clones) or it has some retarded game mechanic that makes it obnoxious (Dead Rising's "you have to play the first two hours like 50 times to level up to a point that you won't get annihilated trying to cross the courtyard in the middle of the mall" deal).

But Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 actually makes it FUN. Horror done right.

I wish I knew someone that had this. Sounds like a great game. PC Version is best though, because people have made their own Campaigns.

Technically, Ellis mentions a friend Dave in the Dead Center Campaign.

He and his friend Dave went to a mall and saw some guys dancing for money...

...

So yeah...

Man I just love the first and this one a lot L4D2 is so much fun to play, especially scavenge mode. The problem I am having though is I find myself getting bored quickly, unlike the first game where I have been playing it from day 1 until part 2 came out. I honestly don't know why but I think level design has a lot to do with it, it comes into play in versus a lot, where you just can't hide anywhere because the environments are just so wide open unlike the first.

They did that on purpose, corner camping is no longer a legitimate strategy.

I love the game. The second one is amazing as well as the 1st. I can't wait for a 3rd. They really know how to make a good zombie game.

You may want to refrain from posting in old topics.

If the date on the upper left of the last post is more than 2 months or so away, then the topic is very old, and doesn't need to be bumped.

Just letting you know.
