Is there any forum here that hasn't had a reply in the last month?!

I've looked at the Xbox 360 forums and I've noticed that most of the recent replies are dated all the way back from a month ago to a year ago. What gives? Where is everybody?

I appreciate your opinion. And I'm not going to argue with you about what the best console is. Unless you want to. Because you're right about one thing, this forum is so barren.

Hey, some guy who's civil and knows how to deal with trolls. This new guy's a keeper.

Anyways, there are a lot of forums which don't have a lot of activity. I just look at the recent post list instead, because it aggregates threads from every forum.

A lot of VGF's members have been here for as long as it takes to produce and sufficiently age a child so that he might be a posting member of an internet community. It goes without saying that sometimes discussion kind of slows down when every kind of discussion about a subject has been exhausted.

The Nintendo subjects usually continue because Nintendo is very dedicated to continuing their individual franchises. That, and a good majority of us have a history with Nintendo, myself in a way that dates to before Microsoft was a household name. Microsoft's fractured properties are owed almost exclusively to their individual developers, as well. The same cannot be said of Nintendo.

Heck, I have an Xbox 360, but the price of a new game is often beyond what I can afford, as I am entering the well-known 'College-age-of-non-affording-things.'
