It's a n00b. They didn't understand how the polls work. There is no set release date for Halo 2 last i checked, and yes, I'm gonna get it. I've already pre-ordered at my local electronics boutique (the only video game store near where i live).

Yeah, Halo has nothing on Quake or Doom.

But they keep pushing back the release date. It'd be hilarious if this was all a hoax, there was no HALO 2, the screenshots were fake, and preordering is all a huge scam to get your money for preordering a nonexistant game. They'd just push back the release date forever.

Halo 2 might look good, but I hate FPS games and it isn't worth buying an XBOX (my friend tells me they break pretty easily after a year or two).

A system lasts as long as the user makes it last. I have an actively 8-bit NES in use, and its not dead yet.

Xbox is a great buy. It seems to get scapegoated (is that even really a word?) a lot by PS2 fans who say it's just an imitation or not worth it, and by Nintendo fans who won't leave the big N. Xbox isn't going to break on you unless it's left on the carpet or something like that, but any system will die that way. To me it seems better built than PS2 and Gamecube, and is definately more technologically advanced, making for sharper, cleaner-looking original games or ported titles than on the other systems. Also to those who say it's not worth it, me being a long time Nintendo fan I can tell you it won me over and I'll be taking a good look at Microsoft next generation too, and that two out of three of my friends who have came over and play Xbox after being loyal Sony fans now want an Xbox. The other one isn't a very avid gamer.

Anyway, I do plan on getting Halo 2, the best FPS now with online play...how can you pass that up? I'll have my green controller with built-in fans ready.
