Am I the only one that loves it, or has no one gotten it yet, or does no one even care? I wanna hear y'all's reviews (so far)...

I miss the zoom function of the handgun... but wielding 2's pretty cool... (Only played multiplayer so far.)

I also like the new vheicles...

I liked the original better in most aspects. The whole thing takes a lot of getting used to.

The pistol was way too powerful in the first game. Three shots could bring down a guy, and it had zoom. Overall, I like the second a whole lot better, mostly thanks to Xbox Live play.

I'm on the sixth level right now, but I've become a lot more ofocused on multiplayer lately. Add me to your friend's list if you want. (Zeipher7)

It's a sweet game. Just got back from a 4v4, and we could've totally had 8v8 if not for the lack of TVs... we had at least 12 or 13 people down there, and there were more I could've gotten. But not everyone was concentrating anyway. Oh well. Sweet game, though I miss the zoom pistol... :\

Asides from the sporatic slowdowns during cutscenes, occasions during the second level where distant objects took time to load and would magically pop-up out of nowhere similar to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and low-quality and absent textures magically turning into high-quality and now visable textures at spontaneous times, the game is rather fun. Not perfect like the masses keep preaching, and maybe not as fun as most FPS on the PC, but it's an alright game. I would probably give it, like, an eight out of ten at best.

However, if Microsoft threw some money at me like they seem to have done to everybody in the world, I may give it an eleven out of ten like everybody else.

Played some today. Couple rounds of multiplayer, wasn't too impressed with that part. Co-op was a bit more fun. I like halo 2 more than the first one anyway.

*shrug* Wasn't incredibly impressive, and I don't think I'll get it, but I don't hate it.

I bought it, played it, and traded it in. The campaign mode really left a lot to be desired, and the multiplayer mode was like a video game equivalent of an AOL chat room; really twitchy, laggy, and full of people spewing things you can't understand.

^^You must have a horrible internet connection then, because I gte next to no lag on Live. I tink there's only been one or two games where it has lagged a bit.

The pop-up in the game is like that so you don't need to sit through tons and tons of loading screens. Even if there is pop-up, the graphics still look better than any other game out there.

Link, Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 never has any loading time, and there aren't backgrounds popping up or anything like that. The only clue that the game is loading at all, is that sometimes the doors don't open immediately.

Halo 2 also looks a lot better than those two games. Plus, you have the GCN's smaller disk which cuts the load times down.

So I finished the game. I felt like there was a drop-off from the original in terms of difficulty.

Why is everybody so angry at Halo 2?
The game, in my opinion, is the best FPS this side of Half-Life 2.

(And I am NOT an X-Box Fanboy, just to tell you)

The Game is great for 5 reasons:
1:Online Multiplayer (Duh!)
2:The weapons,(Like the pistol, which was WAY too powerful in Halo 1, and the Needler, which was useless in Halo 1)are finally evened out.
3:Co-op Mode is fun.
4:Your able to(If timed properly) hijack vehicles, GTA style!
5:One Player mode is still awsome!

But Alas, the game is not compleatly perfect,
there are two things I was dissapointed about:
1:No online Co-op
2:Not all of the multiplayer modes are fun

Overall: 9.8/10
