Each item was purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiny, neon-orange, liquefied pump-cheese, and all.
A nice reminder that people are actively try to trick you every possible moment they can.

That isn't surprising in any way, shape, or form.
Well, okay, I am surprised that Taco Bell still uses the square-tray picture of Nachos Bell Grande when it's served in a round tray, but the rest of it just looks like what would happen to any sandwich when wrapped in paper & thrown in a bag, or any cheese when placed on hot food, etc. The stuff you get in good restaurants doesn't look like the menu pictures either.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Tikal, the stuff in the commercials is inedible; they paint it, varnish it, glue it, etc.
