It's set in a post-zombie outbreak city, where survivors fight against zombies. There's a duality between the two factions: survivors that die rise as zombies and zombies can be revivified by survivors (those with the Necrotech skills and items). You get 50 action points a day (one per half hour) to perform actions like moving to a new block, using items, barricading a building, searching for items, and attacking another player. There's an RPG sort of XP gain and skill tree progression; one skill tree for survivors and one for zombies. What's really cool is the amount of organization that the players have put into it; emergent gameplay is the buzzword. The official wiki where players debate city-wide barricade plans, update current danger status maps, debate survivor and zombie tactics, discuss the role-playing validity of survivor-on-survivor attacks, and list an extensive glossory of game terms. There's also appears to be quite a history of cool stuff players did.

You have to log off and on to say if anyone has said anything in your area. |

A theres a better game in beta called Quarantine 2019 thats basically the same thing except that instead of a big never ending stalemate you have a game with objectives that resets every couple of months when one side wins. since theres an actual goal theres alot more teamwork and such. the game is still in beta though so its small and they have yet to actually balance the game enough to make it last as long as its supposed too. fun though! Also you recover points quicker, instead of 50 per day its 50 twice a day. it actually might be 50 4 times a day at the moment due to the beta and the small amount of people playing but the final goal is twice a day. |

Still, even looking just at the wiki is fun in and of itself. |

The Harmanz seem a bit less fiesty than they used to. Stood up for 1 AP (Ankle Grab), Smashed down a Barricade for 4 AP, Shouted 'Bananna ram!' at the survivors 1AP, and then ate one of them. Good times, but I'm gonna get a whuppin' when they take an action. |
