Quazi-Mediocre Puzzle - VGF

I got bored trying to comprehend the vast, infinite plains of S1x's puzzle... so I went and made my own. I think you'll find it suprisingly deep. But not *too* deep. Not superior, not inferior, but quazi-mediocre.

Be warned: it's very existance confuzzles all.

Edit: Rules are the same as S1x's puzzle. If this one goes over well, and I become confident in my puzzle-making abilities, I'll make another one with new rules. There's no bonus image, but there is an image at the finish line. Post it and victory is yours.

The first clue's overall idiocy has been pasted over by a wallpaper of fake depth. (The first clue has been redone, and the second clue has been renamed, so you'll have to start over).

Sorry for the inconvienince, but no one liked the first clue, which is understandable, so I just went and fixed it.

Because no one who doesn't read the cheats topic will have any idea of what I'm talking about. They don't *get* the Waldo related madness. Heck, it's sort of like my own little running joke for the cheat topic. So I switched it to one everyone will understand. Sorry for the inconvienience.

Is my puzzle THAT bad? I've added even MORE clues, now. They're everywhere. There's even a cluezone I just added. You should get it now.

But that's it. No more extra clues. If you can't figure a puzzle out now, it won't get any easier from here on out.

Here's a clue to my ClueZone:

First, take the year a certain university is founded.

The name of the university is also the name of
the goomba from one of S1x's fan fictions.

Then you have the beginning of a number. Look for that number.

If you're confused, don't be. It's simple. Heck, just ignore this confusing clue. If you don't get this clue you're just going to be even more confused. It's easy enough to find. Just start typing in stuff and you've got it.

If you guys are having trouble with this puzzle, PM me. I can probably help. I won't give you the answer, but I might give you another clue.
