I was on the bus on the way to school. I remember the setting exactly: just coming off the interstate, seat by the aisle... At first I just thought it was a little Cesna. I actually told my 1st hour teacher about it. I kept goin' on thinking it was a little private craft until a kid ran in late yelling "A plane hit the Pentagon!" Then in 2nd hour (French I), we went next door into the resource room to see exactly what was goin' on. I thought I was going to be sick. I even remember what page from the French book we had to translate. I remember the huge response here at the forums. That Friday, in memory of the attack, I remember all the boards were closed. For about a month everyone had an American flag .gif as their siggy. For once, I think, we allowed the same basic topic in multiple forums. Scariest friggin' day of my life. ~Dylan | |

| It was a very sad morning. Family called to warn me but nothing prepared me for the shock of seeing the horrific actions. It was a freaky day leading up to it too, for me. Gotta feel for those directly affected. ![]() | |

She had a dream in which she was visited by the spirits of thoes booked for the three flights. They told her that two major American landmarks will fall. But I didn't find out about that until a week later. on 9/11, I had a terrible day... It started by me getting flattened by a friend of mine that is about three times larger than me. then I went to first period. all was fine for most of the day...until I found out. It was sixth period, about 1:40 in the afternoon. Up until then, I had heard vauge rumors of the events taking place in NYC, my home town. Even though I was in Miami,FL at the time. Well, my teacher had a really scared face and when I asked her what's wrong, she turns on the tv. the moment I saw the replay of the crashes, I couldn't control it. My sister went to the same school as me at that time, and the teacher had to send someone to get her to calm me down. I had freaked out like noone has ever freaked out in that school. It was a massive blow to my heart. |

It was science, first period, and I was doodling VGF characters. Shut up. I was in sixth grade. But yeah, no one told us so I watched people getting pulled out. I did realize basically what was going on after a while -- I live right near an international airport, and since I figured something weird was happening, I was alert for any signs of change. I noticed no planes were flying, which made me figure it was something national as opposed to local... eventually my mommy pulled me out of class and told me what happened. My dad works at some federal place, and was actually supposed to be at the pentagon for a meeting, but he didn't go... can't remember why. He had left for lunch, and when he got back found guys with assault rifles behind sandbags guarding the entrance. Naturally he got to wondering, found out, and called my mom... so yeah. It was pretty damn freaky, eh. |
