So with Halo 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metroid Prime 2 and many more, is this one of the, if not the biggest blockbuster holiday seasons for videogames, despite them all being sequels or an installment in a series? And if any of you say any of the above are busts, the most reliable reviewing outlet im my opinion, EGM gave Halo2 and GTA:SA straight 10's, and MP2 and MGS3 a 10, 9 and 9.5. So nyeh. And which do you plan on getting? Even though I'm scared of buying it because once I do I know I won't get anything done, I'm going to be GTA and then just ask for MGS3 for Christmas. Too many games... |

They have almost universal support. I've got Halo 2, and I will probably pick up the other 3 over the next 6 months or so. |

I heard the local colleges were missing as much as 50% (NOTE: Rounded) of their classes to Halo 2. I'm going to wait for the PC port of Halo 2 before I play it. That way I know I will be playing Halo as it was meant to be played. |

Halo 2 was meant to be played on the Xbox, that's what bungie developed it for. It shouldn't be too bad though, as you can use DirectX on the computer too. No live though, that sucks, and you'll be waiting a least a year. |

Luckily, I found some people who agree Dreamcast was great. Unfortunatly, I may be the only Nintendy fan in our school o_o **Wind blows** [ November 09, 2004, 09:09 PM: Message edited by: Vote for Fred for NC President '04 ] |

I'm likely only going to grab Halo and MechAssault 2 (overshadowed by everything else) this holiday season since I'm pretty broke. I'll likely get MGS3 when the price goes down ala ebay. The other big game that you neglected is Half-Life 2, which I'll likely have in december as well. |

That way they can make that horrible twoday pun that makes me want to kill someone. However, just last week, Shrek 2 came out on Friday. I think it was because they wanted to get their movie out before Halo 2 came out so the people would have more time to waste their money on the movie instread of the game. I think for some odd reason the sellers of Shrek feared Halo 2's realease for monatary reasons... |

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Our other Xbox and our Sys Link cable left though, so we've been doing campaign, but today a few more guys came down with a box and cable and we had a grand old time, 4 on 4. |
