Buying utility software is for the gullible. The reason why the cost is through the roof, is so companies who officially use flash have to pay the ludicrous price for the rights. Very little money actually comes from everyday consumers, and they don't expect it to. Obviously, they haven't tried making it accessible to a consumer market.

You tried student licensing? $99AU for Flash, which is pretty cheap considering the hugeness of the program.
