Me, and my best friend.

Anything but FPS and Sports.

Any game that I really liked, but wasn't hair-yanking difficult.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

My ex was into it, but casual. A friend of mine has an SNES, and always needs me to play Mario with her when she's back in town... She likes to watch. *snicker*

My lady is into some cool games, and she's here on this board right now. Subtlety, folks.

Me.

I like Actions, beat-em-ups, and puzzle games.

I dunno. Nothing to cheeky like any Mary-Kate and Ashley games. I guess it depends on the person.

do you know any girls who are gamers?
Myself, a goodly amount of people online, Mosh, Mysti and another friend in real life.

what genre do they like?
Hmmmm all over the place. I don't know a single one who enjoys the obviously girly crap there is. Give us some action, baby Adventure, RPGs, Puzzles, Racing, Platformers, RTS, come on, we have good taste in games

if you were buying a game for a girl as a gift, what would you look at or recommend?
Something with a good story..? Hmmm I'd need to see what they enjoyed before finding something, really.

do you know any girls who are gamers?

*cough* WELL, YES, WILL!!!!!! I know at least half a dozen (not including those that post here), but have played only with two others!!!

what genre do they like?

The ones I play with? Mostly rpgs, throw in some action, adventure and of course, racing and fighting... you can say each girl gamer is like each guy gamer... they all have different tastes and preferences!!!

if you were buying a game for a girl as a gift, what would you look at or recommend?

RPG first. I understand them... they're easy to get involved with and I don't know any who haven't gotten hooked by them!!!

Yep.

what genre do they like?
RPG mostly. Some like .... unknown genre, like Katamari Damacy.

if you were buying a game for a girl as a gift, what would you look at or recommend?
That really depends on the girl in question. If she liked RPG's, then FF Tactics, without a doubt. Otherwise, I'd have to ask her.

Yes.

The girls I know who play video games generally play any genre but first-person-shooters, sports games, and most fighting games except Super Smash Brothers Melee and Soul Calibur II. RPGs mostly.

If you were buying a game for a girl as a gift, what would you look at or recommend?
It really depends on what kind of genre they like. Buying a game for a girl is a bit harder than buying one for a boy because girls don't play just for graphics or blood.
