| Zelda Mod Join Date: Jun 2000 Location: All over the place Gender: Posts: 12,333 Thanks: 86 Thanked 457 Times in 275 Posts | My PDN is Wyborn, and I am sitting comfortably in a worn chair made of some kind of leather substitute. I wish I had something to drink. I promise to either tell the truth or bring my push-a-tron 8000. Whichever comes first. 1. What is your favorite book and how many times have you read it? A. The Dark Tower by Stephen King, either the entire series or book seven of the series, either way it doens't matter. Easily the greatest modern fantasy story ever told. I've read it once. B. The Dunwhich Horror and Others by H. P. Lovecraft. It's actually a collection of short stories which are wonderful because they teach you an entirley differen way to look at reality itself, and the nature of "evil" in particular. Read it two or three times. C. Shogun, by James Clavell. It's probably the most masterful piece of historical fiction I've ever read, and entertaining as Hell even while it offers a legitimate insight into the perspective of another culture. 2. What song makes you think of your special girl? A. Celes' Theme, by Nobuo Uematsu. I get weepy every time I hear that song. B. Heaven's Not Enough, Yoko Kanno. At least I think she wrote that song. C. Nothing Else Matters, Metallica. I've never heard six words describe our relationship so perfectly. 3. If you were able to get on a plane right now, where would it land and who would be waiting for you? A. I'd be going to Providence, to visit Lovecraft's grave. B. To Ohio, so my uncle can show me around Miami University, where I might be going in a year. C. To Toronto. Monica would be waiting. Duh. 4. How many siblings do you have? A. Two, actually. Younger sister and a still-younger brother. B. Just the one, my little brother. C. Three, in fact: two younger brothers and an elder brother. My elder brother is actually an albino, the inspiration for a character in one of my books. 5. First game you can recall ever beating? A. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for the Genesis. No lie. I never beat any NES games, and the first Genesis game I ever beat was a fighting game based on that superhero team. B. Kirby's Adventure for the NES. C'mon, I've been playing Kirby since I was old enough to recognize he was round. I never stopped playing that game. C. Super Mario 64. First game I beat in earnest. All 120 stars in early 1997, I was king of the world at nine years old. 6. What do you like most about being a Moderator? A. The respect I get from other members. B. Being able to 0wn some newbies for my own amusement. C. Pruning extraneous posts from topics to help keep things tidy. 7. Least favourite illness you've had? A. Influenza. B. Pneumonia. Oh, that was a bad one. C. Bronchitis, if only because I get it about once a year. 8. Three new ranks you give the general members? A. Lames-Ass, Lamer, Lamest B. Oh, My, God C. Under the Radar, Has a Warrant, Public Enemy Number One 9. Last time you took time out to look at a full moon? A. Can't remember. B. Never. C. I think two months ago but I can't be sure. 10. What's your idea of the perfect romantic dinner? A. A really nice restaurant, where all that you have to worry about is a good, meaningful conversation. B. Ideally I'd actually like to cook the dinner myself - keep it simple but nice. In my own apartment, maybe a couple of candles, food I prepared. I can imagine that going over well. C. Well, you know, you can't really beat a picnic. |

| Zelda Mod Join Date: Jun 2000 Location: All over the place Gender: Posts: 12,333 Thanks: 86 Thanked 457 Times in 275 Posts | All right, time to line this up. 1. What is your favorite book and how many times have you read it? A. The Dark Tower by Stephen King, either the entire series or book seven of the series, either way it doens't matter. Easily the greatest modern fantasy story ever told. I've read it once. It's really hard to choose between this and the Dunwich Horror - though Lovecraft may overall be a better author than King, you really can't beat the Dark Tower. Period. 2. What song makes you think of your special girl? C. Nothing Else Matters, Metallica. I've never heard six words describe our relationship so perfectly. Bet you guys didn't see that coming. 3. If you were able to get on a plane right now, where would it land and who would be waiting for you? C. To Toronto. Monica would be waiting. Duh. Duh. 4. How many siblings do you have? A. Two, actually. Younger sister and a still-younger brother. Interesting how many people picked C. I don't even know any albinos, though it made for a pretty good lie. 5. First game you can recall ever beating? A. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for the Genesis. No lie. I never beat any NES games, and the first Genesis game I ever beat was a fighting game based on that superhero team. No comment, save that I couldn't beat Kirby's Adventure when I was four or five. Nightmare always kicked my ass. 6. What do you like most about being a Moderator? C. Pruning extraneous posts from topics to help keep things tidy. Go figure. The other two things don't actually happen. 7. Least favourite illness you've had? B. Pneumonia. Oh, that was a bad one. [i]This more or less speaks for itself. Pneumonia sucks. 8. Three new ranks you give the general members? C. Under the Radar, Has a Warrant, Public Enemy Number One I don't know why I like this but I do. 9. Last time you took time out to look at a full moon? C. I think two months ago but I can't be sure. I don't usually go out of my way to look at the moon, full or not. 10. What's your idea of the perfect romantic dinner? B. Ideally I'd actually like to cook the dinner myself - keep it simple but nice. In my own apartment, maybe a couple of candles, food I prepared. I can imagine that going over well. I aspire to be able to cook. Now, for the scores Wyborn - ACCAACBCCB - 10/10 Knuckles - BACBBBCCAA - 2/10 Tigt - BABAAACCAA - 3/10 Eternal F - ACCCBBBACB - 5/10 TGDMOB - ACCCBBBCBA - 5/10 Nomytaker - ACCCACCCCA - 7/10 TML - AAAAAAAAAA - 3/10 SilverWind - ACCABBBCCA - 7/10 So it's actually a tie between SilverWind and Nomytaker. Dunno what that means. |

| Whee!!! It generally means that one person goes next IF the other person was the one beforehand, but I like to change the rules as I please at times and since it was some 10 - 14 days between tying someone up, I'm happy to tie two people to chairs on opposite corners. And, I have to agree with you about the pneumonia. That illness is so much more painful that it sounds.(I'm here and I will be here regularly every week again!!) Thank you Wyborn for participating and not running off in a mad frenzy. Very nice!! *gives ya marshmallows and vegemite cruskits* Nomytaker AND Silverwind... You put up your answers after two days, and the one with the most correct (combined from the two) will be put upon the Witness Stand next! (oh to be fair... no one can be on the Witness Stand more than once a week.) Nomytaker 1. What is your favourite DVD and how many times have you watched it? 2.
