Has it affected the way you feel about something afterwards? I once heard a sound downstairs and went to see if it was my parents coming home. Their car wasn't in the drive and as I walked back towards the stairs, I saw the handle on the door being turned back and forth. I screamed and it stopped, whoever was there must have left. I locked myself in the bathroom until I knew my parents were home. I'm very careful about locking all the doors and windows when I'm home alone, now. |

A tornado funnel was once hovering over my house, and I can feel the whole house rumbling, and I was in the bathtub with my sister and my mom. Has it affected the way you feel about something afterwards? Never underestimate the power of tornado warnings. |

| Gunjinkeeper | Two things: 1: I was outside during a christmas party a few years ago, and we had some of those confetti popping fireworks. We were told not to pop them near each other, put a short little girl got under me when I popped one and she overreacted. The supervisor told me to go inside and sit in my room, "Thinking about what I had done", but I didn't, and I became infuriated. The supervisor kept yelling "YOU POPPED DAT BOOGIE OVA PO GAL'S HAYED!!!", making me madder, so I began throwing rocks at the guests. I eventually hit the head of a child, and the child's big cousin chased me down and beat me with a stick, all the while the child kicking my unmeantionables. 2: The power went out at my house, and the whole place was so dark that I couldn't see an inch in front of me. I became so frightened that I went to my mom's room and tried to sleep oin the floor, but when I couldn't, I tried to go back to my room. On my way back, I heard a noise come from downstairs, and my fright became desperaion. I grabbed a baseball bat and hid in the corner of my room, prepared to do battle with anything that came to me. When the sun came up, you can imagine how relieved I was. Both of these are true stories, just to clear up any doubts. Results: I now avoid fights I can't finish and waking up during a power outage, if I can... |

Let's see... The only one I can think of was when I was in about sixth grade, it was winter and I was down near the creek. The ice seemed pretty hard, so being the idiot I am, I walked onto the ice. I went to the far side, which was under a bridge, and naturally, the ice broke and I plunged in. The water was only waist deep, but damn, it was cold. I tried to climb back onto the ice, but yet another piece broke as I got on. x_x I did eventually get out, and let me tell you. Walking home on a cold winter day while the bottom half of you is wet is no way to live. Guh. |

I yell at her to shut up a few times and she doesn't. I then decide to see what she's barking at, thinking it was soemone playing fetch with the neighbours' dog. Instead of being at the front door, she's facing a completley different wall barking. I look at the wall and there is a huge spider on the wall. And you KNOW it would have had to have been pretty big to get a dog to bark at it. |

| When I was little, I was terrified of things under my bed to the point I once took a flying leap in the dark... straight into the door of my wardrobe. Very embarrassing when my Mum came to investigate the noise. NOW.... the monsters are afraid of the faerie!!! ![]() | |
