I recently rediscovered this parody and it was just as funny as the first time I saw it. For anyone that missed it the first time, various game consoles play out an interesting take on the end of FF6 to decide the fate of video games. The PSP takes the role of Kefka. ![]() Here. There are more references than I can count. Warning, it's pretty long. |

This was just made in Japan, so they called it a famicom. The Engine Buster was a pumped up version of the Turbo Graphics 16, which was called the PC Engine in Japan. The Ultima Famicom was a powered up NES. And the third was the Genesis with all of it's add-ons. Together they represented the three ancient gods that were the source of all magic in Final Fantasy 6, or in this case the three ancient gods of video games. I'd say that's a good role for the NES, wouldn't you agree? |
