Question 8's a trick question, and this quiz fails to take into account that I have multiple accents (but nonetheless know how to speak correctly if forced). I'm not from inland north or midland, but the third option of northeast is correct. I also don't call carbonated drinks pop. What am I, Canadian? On a sidenote, I'm apparently 47% American.

"The West", a.k.a. accent-less town. There's a reason call centre jobs are outsourced there; everyone there sounds very non-accented.

A more accurate assessment of me after changing one answer:

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

The West: Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.
