The biggest brands and licenses in portable gaming history are coming together in a major event to find the Australian Game Boy Pokémon Champion with the stamina and skill to last in a knockout contest. Sydney based Pokémon and Game Boy experts will have 24 hours to register their interest in becoming one of the lucky 70 contestants in this event by sending applications to a special e-mail address found only in Thursday's Daily Telegraph Newspaper (20th March). The winner of this event will receive two return Economy Class tickets to Singapore flying Singapore Airlines. On the way, they'll enjoy KrisWorld, the world's most advanced inflight entertainment system featuring over 30 Nintendo games. They'll also receive a year's supply of Nintendo Australia product to keep them busy when on the ground. This fun-filled event will be hosted by Ryan Lappin and Jade Gatt from Network TEN's Cheez TV and include special appearances from Pikachu, Charmander, Meowth, and Squirtle - some of the most popular Pokémon characters of all time. Spectators attending the event will have the opportunity to win some of the thousands of dollars worth of Nintendo product that will be up for grabs every hour and have the opportunity to play the latest games from Nintendo not yet released in Australia. |
