| Guest | Yes it is dumb, it is going to die just like all the others. Well dont get me wrong, I mean yu gi oh might be cool looking but I really think that the card trading will phase out and all that other stuff. Then it will be just talking about it. Then it will sie away just like pokemon |

The people who are complaining about the Yu-Gi-Oh! topics, aren't posting any other topics to really show that they care about Konami, meaning that if Yu-Gi-Oh! is gone, they'll just celebrate, and not post any topics in the Konami Fourm whatsoever. | Guest | he he well im sorry but inform me here. If it will die and go away and all that, then what the ---- is the point of trading the cards and watching the show when you all know that it will just fade away as pokemon did? Why dont you watch a sport on tv or some other show but dont dive into it. I mean, I suppose watching the show isnt that bad. But you here all know that the only reason that this room is even being hosted is because they came out with ****e to trade. And if the konami forum is empty, its empty you cant change that. If yu-gi-oh dies then the konami forum will die.... SO WHAT!?!? We can talk about other stuff. Boo Hoo with the konami shiot I DO NOT CARE AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. why should we focus on 1 maker of a cartoon??????? |

| Guest | How do we know that Yu-Gi-Oh won't be like DragonBallZ? DragonBallZ's been around since 1997, and they have trading cards, and it's still going strong today! Just because a lot of people hate DBZ doesn't mean it should die. Same with Yu-Gi-Oh. I have a bigger feeling that it will die than survive, but it has its fair share of fans, so just let it live for now. We can all laugh at it later. And as for your theory about the Konami forum. If Konami's stubborn enough, they'll just go out and make another "Yu-Gi-Oh"-like cartoon series with cards and such. It's a chain I'm afraid that we all just can't destroy... |

It probably got popular in America a little while after it was released, but I seriously can't think of any other reason... As for my opinion on this whole Yu-Gi-Oh forum thing, going back to what Tritoch said, he's correct that Yu-Gi-Oh is an anime, but they also have video games for it. I wouldn't really mind if they added a Yu-Gi-Oh forum or not, because I rarely ever visit that area of the forums. You might consider adding one depending on the number of people that post about Yu-Gi-Oh. The amount of topics there doesn't explain too much. It's really all in the amount of people that ACTUALLY post those topics. For example: You shouldn't go making tons and tons of forums because of a high topic amount, just because it's one or two people. If the numbers start piling up, and gets a bit too out of control, a Yu-Gi-Oh forum would definently ease the congestion of the Konami forum. But if it's only a few people making all those topics, it's really nothing to worry about... [ November 06, 2002, 04:27 PM: Message edited by: Cham Zord ] | |
