The Krampus Appreciation Thread

Every Christmas, people remember Santa Claus and give thanks to him for leaving gifts for the good boys and girls on Christmas eve. But what about Saint Nick's forsaken helper, Krampus?

Before Santa was the jolly fat guy in red we've all come to know and love, there was the Krampus, his little helper. He was short and devilish in appearance, with a scraggly beard, long horns, and the hindquarters of a goat. Krampus traveled with Santa on Christmas eve to the houses of all the children of the world. But as Santa would leave gifts for the good, gracious girls and boys, Krampus would punish the bad ones, sometimes taking them away. But alas, Santa's most beloved assistant has vanished into obscurity in recent years.

So I say, let us bring Krampus back! Let us bring back the good ol' dark Christmas! Let us frighten kids into being good instead of rewarding them for doing what they already should be doing! We love you, Krampus!
