We could have Leap Year every year if we just trimmed down some other month (March would be a good candidate--screw March anyway). But then, would Leap Year be as special if it came every year? Probably, now I think of it. Never mind.

It's the only day of the year unfortunate people born on this day have their birthday. Let us celebrate the birthdays of the leap year babies--until the next presidential election they'll just have to stay 5/10/20/49 forever.
