Awwww poor Mikhail... I actually hope he's just playing along with the joke and not truly thinking we'd do something that crazy...

I'm going to owe everyone many marshmallows and grinnies after this, regardless!!!

Although, when we had the huge crash, VGF lost everything... it was sad, but I, for one, have lots of memories of those days back then!! And, I'm a faerie who "collects" things. I do save VGF pages in their entirety when I think it's truly aweosme (and sentimental) to me!! *giggles* ;D

Hmmm I don't mind doing that if it becomes more "heated" as a way of explaining some will lose more than just posts. However, I don't feel comfortable taking the joke beyond April Fool's day itself.

To make the current plan a little better:

Tomorrow, somebody should post a topic saying "haha, yeah it was a cool April Fools joke, the topics and post counts will be back in a couple hours.

Then, a little later, say something like...

"uh oh

it was the wrong kind of deletion / there was a server hiccup / they're corrupted, we can't get them back"

Then see the reactions from the non-mods.
