But anyways, I giggled at Harvey Birdman, played some WoW, then went to sleep at 7:47/7:50 AM and got up at 1:14 PM even though I told the alarm clock to get me up at 1:15 PM. Whatever. I tried clarifying some rules on fire for a DM at the White Wolf forums but some pissy French dude one-uped me and told me I wasted money on the Rules Compendium. It's his loss, because that book clarifies a lot of rules Wizards didn't really get but since they're playing with that s***ty World of Warcraft setting and not the old Warcraft setting ( the one with the Forsaken template and prestige Paladins and the bad write-up for the Lich King ) they're screwing themselves anyways so whatever. I took a shower and went to work ( I work at a yacht club ) with my friend at 3:30. Since he drives pretty fast we got there, well, pretty fast. After I iced the bar and set up the bussing stations and grabbed my paycheck and showed the new girl around I ate lunch ( pizza and peas ) with the rest of the employees. My friend Steve ( the erratic driver ), some guy in the ROTC at the high school I went to, the new girl, and I grilled this one wigger kid we work with who was trying to act cool by showing off his wigger hoodie that'd get him shot if he went to Rockford, Illinois, then my Boss Lady stationed me in the dead part of the restaurant where all the casually dressed people and walk-ins go. That went by pretty fast. Then Steve showed ROTC, new girl, and I how to disassemble and clean the ice cream machines ( ROTC and I don't have any excuses for not knowing how to clean that thing; we've been working there since Valentine's Day. ) and we ate soft serve ice cream while Jorge the maintenance guy laughed at Steve. Got off at ten-something ( I get off whenever the last customers leave ). My mother drove me home and I bought some Amps at Walgreen's and harassed my sister who works there. Then I invited Steve over for food and opened my gift of this sinus cleansing thing from my sister and got some birthday cards. Then Steve left to do some homework for his school and I uploaded some pictures I took. Here're some pictures of what I did after I got home. Me being obscene with a rubber duck I put on my cake. Me lifting Steve. So yeah. I worked, but since I got paid I'm not complaining. If I had to work and didn't get paid or had to work with this one chick I can't stand, I probably wouldn't post something. I screwed myself out of hours last Sunday though so instead of getting like four hundred or whatever dollars like I usually get I only got three hundred and thirty one dollars and twenty three cents. When I got to the bank I was like, "damn it.". So now I have to talk to one of my Boss People on Sunday because I don't work tomorrow. I'm saving the moeny for a driver's license and a car and college. Now I'm watching Metalocalypse, and I'm going to play some WoW when the encore of AS is over. I might drink some Amp too, because I got some Amps for my birthday. EDIT: Oh yeah I also updated WinAmp when I got home. WinAmp is awesome, so you guys had better download it. | |
