The VGF Presidential Election: How to do it

I want to know from the people how we should do this election.

Should it just be an open poll that the nominees can't vote in (honor code)

Or should we do it another way? (Using mods as like an electoral collage or something...omg technical)

The Democratic Socialite Party:

I will help crack down on Rick Rolling, hoping to reduce the epidemic by 93.4% by the end of our first two months of holding the VGF Presidential Office.
As President, I will create a charity for poorer members who can't afford such necessities as PDN changes and gifts for HotD.
I will work with the VGF Congress, both the Admins and the House of Moderators, to ensure that quality posts are being made. Heavily populated areas, such as WoT and the Meme Forum, will receive special attention.
I will ensure that there are no repressed political views in the PP&R forum.
I will invest in therapists for everyone having troubles in the Relationships forum. Believe me, I myself have had problems in this area, too.
I will build a museum for the Art, Literature, and Writing forum.
I will work with our newspapers to create better Comics pages for our Comics and Spriting forum.
I will strive for equal opportunities for all gamers, whether they own the 360, the PS3, or the Nintendo Wii.
I will provide Social Security for our NES and Ataris.

And Last but not least...

I will raise taxes on the rich and lower taxes on the poor.

Deja Vu All Over Again: We Bring EXPERIENCE
There are three things that are certain in our lifetime: Death, Taxes, and the Sageshippers' perpetual membership here at VGF. Not only do SML and ZG bring the longest combined tenure at VGF to office, but they also bring he largest combined post count to office (Hint: It's definitely over 9000)!! This double whammy of sorts shows both their stellar attendance and participation in a myriad of forum activities.

That, and claiming to not be supermods doesn't set you apart from any of the other parties.
