Yeah, Dr. Pepper stays good surprisingly well when flat.

The only soda I've ever tasted that tastes any better flat is probably Bark's rootbeer.

Though, that stuff tastes flat already.

Barq's...tastes flat?
It's specifically designed NOT to taste flat. That's why they call it "the one with bite," because it always keeps a kick.

^ I always thought that the bite was a refrence to its powerful flavor, but I'm not sure. It is one of my favorite root beers though.

Oh, crap. Sorry, I meant A&W. Barq's are good.

^^That's what I meant by "always keeps a kick". Barq's is what I call a "sharp" root beer; the other type being the "creamy" type, which leads me to this...

^You're still losing me, because A&W is the sweet elixer of life; it is the concrete, conclusive proof of the existence of a benevolent, loving God. A&W does not lose its perfect, delectable flavor, no matter how flat it is, or how warm it is, or how old it is (though admittedly, I don't know why anyone would refrain from drinking it long enough to really test that "how old it is" part). If A&W ever tastes off, it is a poorly-mixed batch, & you should try again later.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^True, it does have a constant taste. It's...alright but it still tastes flat-ish to me.

I guess my tastebuds are retarted.

Creamy Root Beer seems pointless when there's Cream Soda. I like Barq's but it is more rare than A&W (which is really good for Root Beer Floats).

Well, the cream soda A&W makes is the white kind. I actually prefer the pink kind like Vess makes. The white is nice every once in a while, but it is just ridiculously sweet.

I can't stand the feeling that the OP is talking about, which is why I mostly stick to water, soy, and.. uh.. beer.

But yeah, it's the reason why I don't drink warm pop. I find that when you drink it right off of the shelf at the grocery store (not literally, of course), the sensation feels much more intense.

It seems less bothersome when it's cold, so I don't mind drinking it with a few ice cubes at all.

^In my experience, most sodas (including all colas) lose their flavor when they're warm, so I want 'em cold anyway, regardless of the intensity of the fizz.

Vernors is the king of this. One sip of a fresh one, and it will make you begin sneezing and coughing like crazy.

That's why when you're sick you should drink Vernors, it'll make you sneeze and cough and clear your airways of mucus.

My dad can drink something three hours old when it's been inside a blazing hot car, and by that time it's hot and flat.

I'm completely serious, I've seen him do it, and it's disgusting.
