The only free MMORPGs I've ever tried were Tibia and AdventureQuest. Both were ho-hum.

Y'know, I've always wanted to give Runescape a try...

Cool, When I first joined there were so many hackers.

I tried Runescape on my laptop, but couldn't get it to work. Hmm.

Alright guys, I've been playing Silk Road Online for about a week now and managed to addict a few WoW players.

The game is pretty solid. I haven't run into any major glitches yet, just a few clipping errors. The graphics are great and its free. Not free unless you want something high level, free. Free as in the only way to spend money is if you are too noob and need an XP doubler.

One complaint is that most of the guide is in Engrish and the initial download is kinda slow, but that can be expected from a foriegn game.

If any of you want to start playing, send me a PM.

I am T3hDarkness on the Babel server.

Project Torque
-Good MMORG (Massive(ly) Multiplayer Online Racing Game. Very good racing game and it's FREE! And it has very good graphics too! And many playing modes. Race whit ghost mode and without ghost mode. Capture the flag and Explorer (collecting items around maps). Challenge mode and Thunder Alley (high speed races whit special cars). And it is free!
I can't post URL because I'm new here but search from google by index-words: Project Torque.

Sorry for the bump but I just wanted to say a few things.

I'm pretty happy with Kingdom of Laothing, granted the graphics are horrible but as the game is kinda based on maing fun of MMORPGs to beginwith it fits.

I might have to try Runescape again one of these days.

I have something called Marble Madness Online (the acronym for it is MMO ). It's basically a MMORPG with marbles. It even has the original Marble Madness in the form of a tournament. It takes 7.9 MB of hardrive space and at least 5 different DLL files, but it's still pretty fun.
