Trainwrecks should be limited to complete trash, like Son of the Mask and Sky Captain. Ok, I'm also a closet Vin Diesel fan. Sue me. Heh.-jay (XXX ruled) | |

Crap. Yeah, the Pacifier looks funny. That doesn't belong in the topic. (( IMO )) |

But then from the other other preview, it's about Alan Cumming dressed up as a Norse jester trying to get the Mask back from the dog/dude/baby. Which all adds up to one question: Why did they greenlight a Mask sequel 11 years later without any of the original cast or characters except Ben Stein? And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Second, the dog has the mask on during the day in one scene... the mask IS'NT SUPPOSED TO WORK DURING THE DAY!! |

This serves to support my 3rd theory of idiocy: Quote:

I call this movie a wasted opportunity. The openning "scare" started out alright (seeing a robe getting up and start moving when the lights went out) but then turned really corny (father getting sucked into closet -- many times). Other scares were far and few between. Then just when it looked looked like the movie was picking up, it went into a noisy CGI-filled finale, in which has so many fast cuts it would make your head spin. It looks like Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures is now 1-1 (or 0-2 if you didn't like The Grudge) |

High quality ****, right there. 2 friends and I saw it as the only people in the theatre. I climbed up the back of my seat, and made shadow puppets on the screen. We only went in because the flick we wanted to see was rated R, and Cinemark are a bunch of nazi bastards when it comes to id. ![]() [ February 13, 2005, 10:33 AM: Message edited by: Pong Warrior ] |

Rollerball is terrble. Gigli is terrible. Constantine is a popcorn flick for entertaintment value (which I quite enjoyed) Edit: This is why I don't like movie reviews. A good movie to someone is hated by someone else. There is no such think as a good or bad movie. It's just a matter of opinion. [ February 20, 2005, 02:56 PM: Message edited by: Gimpy ] |
