How did one of his raps go again?
Quote:
I don't know what you heard about me
But a ***** can't get a dollar out of me
No Cadillac, no perms, you can't see
That I'm a mother****ing P-I-M-P
...My God. A lyrical genius. John Lennon himself couldn't come up with something as great as that.

Get a grip.

Maybe what Dragonman meant was that 50 Cent excels at what rappers do; make crappy music with halfassed lyrics.

Ignorance sucks. 50 Cent used to be alright in the Power of the Dollar days before he got famous. He used to talk about the world and crap, then he got famous and talked about PIMPing stuff.

And no, rap isnt gangster's rapping about guns and violence. Jesus, I hate stereotypes.

Face it, there are people who just don't like Hiphop/Rap, and rightly so, in my opinion. Musically and lyrically it pales in comparison to stuff from the 60s and 70s.

^Music in general pales compared to those eras.

It's still ignorance though, since I bet you haven't ever heard of Talib Kweli, Most Def, De La Soul, etc. you only have heard 50 cent, game, eminem, Ja Rule etc.

It is your opinion, but it isnt really valid if you haven't listened to at least the best that genre has to offer.

Yeah, I wouldn't call Rebound a trainwreck. I may go see it. Lawrence could save the movie all by himself. Plus funny adult lead + bunch of kids is usually good for a few laughs.-jay

I saw the Dukes of Hazard trailer at the movies recently... I'm guessing it's based off something, so maybe's it's just because I don't get the reference, but the movie looks really, really bad.

The only movies I saw that were able to pull that off were School Of Rock and Willy Wonka.

Ooh, here's a trainwreck; the new MTV studios movie "Hustle and Flow". The tagline is "Everybody gotta have a dream", for god's sakes.

That Honeymooners movie looks like it's going to make fans of the show cry.

It's hard to base a movie around "It's hard out here for a pimp." Why yes, it is hard out here for a pimp. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that pimping is illegal.

Wrong. I did mean it.

Wrong again. I like every kind of music, except country and bluegrass. The joy of being an EPG is that almost everything is enjoyable. I think you meant Mos Def, without a "T."

It pains me to say this, because I do it all the time, but don't insult people because of their tastes in media.
