I think after about 15 seasons any show would go stale. Probably 10, that's prolly the main reason why "FRIENDS" ended (I dont know, I hated that show anyways)

Simpsons just isn't funny anymore...then again it never really was laugh a minute which you can get from SP if your lucky.

Difference between South Park and the Simpsons is Sout Park is getting better as it gets older while the Simpsons just gets worse. First three seasons of the Simpsons were good. First three seasons of Southe Park were Subpar (Third season is the only reason its subpar and not sucky)
However anywhere beyond that South Park is much funnier than the Simpsons.

Hmmm I'm a hardcore Simpson's fan but I can't deny the fact that I've farted twice while laughing out loud to more than a few South Park episodes !!

And what's up with everyone so outraged by the past couple of seasons of the Simpsons? Sure, they're not as good as they used to be, but to call them complete crap is rash. Its still one of the best shows on TV.

I thought the most recent season of the Simpsons was good, although I'll admit the season two years ago was crappy. Also, I hope you're talking about sort of the middle-seasons. The really old ones sucked. Badly. They just weren't that funny, plus the diseased animation doesn't help.

A few years ago... I was watching the Simpsons and after a while I noticed the new episodes just weren't making me laugh. I think it was the episode where Bart has to go to court and see the Judge Judy-like character and Marge and Homer get tethered together or somthing like that.

It went straight downhill from there.

The last really funny episode of the Simpsons I remember seeing was the one with Stan Lee and Angry Dad.

South Park hasn't become stale yet to me. Some episodes just really aren't very funny, but overall, it's still a very funny show.

I choose South Park.
