As much as I like Nic Cage (he's probably one of my favorite actors), I don't think this movie looks that great at all. It rips off Indiana Jones a little and The Da Vinci Code a LOT. It seems to be a lame attempt at creating a fun "American pride" flick.

I saw it, and it was okay, but nothing too special. Don't know if it's worth a movie ticket, but maybe a rental when it comes out.

It's probably one of the worst movie concepts I've ever heard of.

Yeah I'm sure that while they were struggling to put together a nation with limited funds they hid a TREASURE HORDE that no one has ever found.

Not ot mention it rips off like 10 movies.

An immensely stupid idea, yet it still looks entertaining.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yeah, I thought the idea was pretty stupid. I wasn't going to see it but my friend asked me to go with him and I said yes because I wanted just to get out. I must admit, it was pretty entertaining.

It was interesting, I'll admit.

*spoilers*

Although I ruined it for everyone I was with by explaining that, technically, it's all impossible, mainly because if a fingerprint, like that of that girl whose name I can't remember who Riley thought was hot, it taken, then applied to a glove like that, it will be backwards. Therefore, the fingerprint will read as a completely different fingerprint; therefore it would not work. Game over for me.

This movie concept proves once again that there is no idea too stupid to be made into a movie.

As a change, we have a lame concept that becomes a fairly good movie, rather than a great concept becoming a sucky movie.

It's directed by the same guy that did Cool Runnings... so it has to be good!

Actually, if he had used the exact fingerprint from the glass, it would have been backwards, but he got the fingerprint onto the glove from the glass, so the double reversal would make it normal.

Yeah, I figured that out a bit later. If it had been from the hand to the glove, it wouldn't work, but since it went through two transactions... yeah.

I saw it. The history was nonsensical, but the movie itself was surprisingly good. Surprising in that it was good at all, not in that it was especially well-done. They did a decent job despite of a horrible, horrible idea and backstory. If you have nothing better to do, it's sort of worth seeing.

...well, I dunno about "worth seeing", but like Kunx said, pretty entertaining.

I saw 5 minutes of it last night (I work at a theater, remember? ) and I could already tell it suffered from too much unneccisary CGI.
