Source: ....AFI Ya know, there probably won't be any new TV shows for the rest of the year, but there will definitely be more movies they might want to consider. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

That's why the Aviator is number one on the list even though it isn't in widespread release till Christmas day. Also of note, must be American made, at least 60 minutes, and a fictional narrative. That knocks out farenheit, supersize me, Miracle, and the Passion (unless people really want to beat that hornet nest and say the Passion was fictional). Friday Night Lights wasn't a non-fictional account to my best knowledge. I'm pretty sure it was a dramatization of the author's experiences, not a non-fictional piece. Don't know if I will. MARIA FULL OF GRACE - Probably won't see it (it's a spanish film) MILLION DOLLAR BABY - Might see it (just because it's getting Oscar buzz) SIDEWAYS - Was wanting to see it at the Toronto Film Fest, but tickets were sold out. SPIDER-MAN 2 - Saw it (it's good) |

I'ma big fan of Jim Carrey, especially when he doesn't play his usal funny face character (like Ace Ventura, The Mask). I also really liked Collateral, The Increibles and Spider Man 2 (though I thought the original was better). I haven't seen any of the other movies, I think most of them haven't even been released yet. |
