A Metroid Movie has been "Anounced". I hope it does not turn up like a certin movie that was based on a plumer, but was pure CRAP.

Yes, I'm talking about Super Mario Bros: The Movie.

Most VG movies, I my opion, suck.

Kind of like Wild Wild West. If you can ignore the fact it's a historian's nightmare, it really isn't that bad of a movie. Independence Day, Men in Black, and I, Robot all kick its ass, but it was still many times better than, say, Alien Resurrection (sorry, I couldn't think of any garbage Will Smith movies I've seen).

Bloodrayne: The movie's (( Crappy )) plot:
Quote:
In eighteenth century Romania, Rayne, a dhampir (half-human, half-vampire), prone to fits of blind blood rage but saddled with a compunction for humans, strives to avenge her mother's rape by her father, Kagan, King of Vampires. Two vampire hunters, Sebastian and Vladimir, from the Brimstone Society persuade her to join their cause.
I thought Rayne was a agent who killed Nazis in the game. Not someone out for revenge.

Speaking of the Metroid movie, how much you wanna bet they're going to make Samus a guy, or completely forget about Samus and make it a super soldier or a robot or something, who has to rescue a retarded bimbo who was somehow hired as a bounty hunter?
I know, Samus isn't a bimbo, but you know how movies get. Hell, I bet if they make a Halo movie they'll put in midevil ages.

I thought Bad Boys 2 was a pretty bad Will Smith movie.

I said garbage Will Smith movie's I've seen. I've never seen Bad Boys 2.

But I just now remembered Men in Black 2 (how I forgot about that pile of dirty socks, I don't know). Yeah, I guess that could have substituted for Alien Resurrection in my earlier post.

I quit watching Resurrection about thirty minutes into it because my parents asked me to go out to eat. I accepted and had no problem turning off the movie. I didn't put it back into the player for another two weeks, and had to force myself to finish watching. Not even Ron Perlman could save that turkey.

I've never even heard of the damn game...

Personally I thought the Resident Evil movies were ok, and I'm a huge fan. I can't wait for Silent Hill, either.

*sigh* Let's count them out, shall we?

Super Mario Brothers
Street Fighter
Double Dragon
Mortal Combat (1, 2, 3)
House of the Dead
Resident Evil (1, 2)
Metroid
Alone in the Dark
Spy Hunter
Silent Hill
Bloodrayne
Doom

I'm sure I missed one or two, but yeah...this has become an era of video game movies.

Leno said Alone in the Dark was doing poorly.

"That's why it's called Alone in the Dark. Because if you're watching it, you're alone, and in the dark."

Th humorous bits were ok, but the action sequences were far too long and chaotic. It's the type of film that you are looking at a car chase for 10 minutes and halfway you can't remember why there is a chase in the first place.

^ Close, but a rumor's going around that Uwe Boll is working on a Pac Man movie, having him be obssesed with power pellets with the ghosts after him. Did I mention the rumor included that this would be Live Action?
