The Ring Two Trailer is now online!

The full trailer isn't as creapy as the teaser was. But, you would want to presume that they don't want to give away all the scares before you see the movie.

The movie looks to be taking a slightly different approach than the first one (and I think it's also a different approach than Ringu 2).

I don't want to give it away (even though you can just see it for yourself in the trailer), but I think this movie is going to do something that people were speculating about with the first movie.

This is definitely high on my must-see list and I will definitely be seeing it when it comes out in March.

The trailer is found at http://www.apple.com/trailers/dreamw...g_two/trailer/

Based on IMDb, it seems like there'll be less Samara and more irritating son, so it'll probably be much worse than the first.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

1. I didn't find the son irritating (though you're right by the fact that it looks like he'll be playing a more prominent role in the sequel -- just watch the trailer)

2. Being a constant visiter to the site, I can tell you that IMDb is NOT the best place to get info on upcoming movies (since most of it's content is submitted by IMDb users)

3. We probably won't know anything for sure until we see the movie.

Ok, I thought this was going to be a steaming pile, but the trailer actually surprised me. With the exception of one thing;

WHAT'S WITH THE EVIL DEER? I'M RACKING MY BRAIN AND I STILL CAN'T FIND AN EXCUSE FOR THIS MOVIE TO CONTAIN POSSESSED DEER!

^Because turning generally harmless-themed things into focal points for horror is a very good scare-tactic. Think dolls, for Christ's sake. Or clowns, at least.

But what does that have to do with Samara or the video? It seems too random.

However, if you notice that before it goes nuts, the horse is petted with the arm that was grabbed by Samara earlier in the film.

^And Mr. Morgan says horses might sense things before we do.

Sorry, but I think the trailer is exclusively in the Quicktime format (which is the best format to view trailers in)

Quicktime's only like a 5 minute (on High Speed) download (if you don't have High Speed what are you doing trying to download movie trailers -- which take ages to load on Dial-Up)
