Awesome movie, despite how surprisingly violent it was.

The titles are all said verbally in the narration, instead of being shown via title cards.

"The Hard Goodbye" is the story of Marv (the original graphic novel was untitled, but has since been renamed)

"The Big Fat Kill" is the story of Dwight

I'd heard that they were considering Clive Owen to be the next James Bond. I wasn't sure he was cut out for action flicks (especially after that piece of crap 'King Arthur'), but I was wrong. He did an awesome job here.

Hell, everyone did. The acting was all-around pretty damned good; I can't think of anyone who did a bad job.

Rodriguez says he wants to film all of the Sin City stories. If he does, he'll have to bring back quite a few characters; Dwight stars in two other series, and Marv shows up a few more times, too. (Actually, so do Manute and Miho, now I think of it.)

^ Actually I just read today that they may just bring Pierce Brosnan back after all (but that's for another topic).

An interesting think that I read is that if all the Sin City stories are filmed, Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez would like to, one day, release some sort of deluxe DVD that would allow you to just select to view the indivual stories (instead of a whole feature-length collection of stories).

**** Hot! Seriously, this movie was amazing. It blew my every expectation to smithereens and built temples with the pieces.

I don't think I've ever been so into a move in a long, long time.

Definitely. I'd say it's the first "10" movie i've seen since "Shawshank Redemption". And I watch a LOT of movies.
