It's weird, but this movie has become one my most-anticipated movies of the pre-summer movie season. I think it's the film-noir style that's gotten me interested. For those of you who haven't seen in, the trailer can be found at http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/sin_city/ (and if you like the song in the trailer, it's called "Cells" by a British group called The Servant) Also you can visit the official movie website at http://www.sincitythemovie.com/ (note: The website has some R-rated material on it, just so you know) Edit: I was also looking around for info on the orignal comic book, and boy does the comic have interesting artwork. The art for the Sin City comic is basically just Black and White outlines. Too see what I mean, you can see some of the artwork (and info about the comics) at http://hem.passagen.se/fm4/sincity.html [ February 18, 2005, 09:41 PM: Message edited by: Gimpy ] |

I was hooked back when 'Sin City' was a comic series; I almost have to see the movie. __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

One of which, which WAS going to be part of this movie, but cut for length, would probably star Johnny Depp. |

Brilliant. Story still has me a little confused...I need some CliffNotes. Once more people see it I'll get more specific, but I'll just look on IMDB for now. Also... best line evar... "Hey!" |

This is definitely was a comicbook on screen. Can't wait for the sequel (there is already talks of one, with one the tales staring Johnny Depp) |

My favorites are The Big Fat Kill and The Yellow Bastard. I would advise any who aren't big comic book fans, to brace themselves for some classic 1940's-50's old school style gum-shoe dialouge/acting. Most guys will like this movie, very few women will enjoy on the same level. |
