I liked that dragon planet, whatever it was called. To be honest I liked all of it. Is was great. I liked all six movies, which I guess means that I'm easy to please.

Oh and for any you who have never heard of Supershadow. You can find all the information involving the next 3 Episodes at his website.

Supershadow.com

Very good site with a ton of info and script summary of Episodes 7,8,9
Dude...I thought all that was completely fake. The guy running it - so I hear - has been pegged for other such frauds in the past.

I saw it last night. I'm not really huge on Star Wars that much, just a casual fan...but I thought it was a great movie. The drawbacks were quite obvious and were already mentioned in topic (i.e. dialogue, cheezy romance, the "NOOOOOOOO"), but those weren't bad enough to detract from the overal enjoyment of the film. It just felt weird that it's...over. You know?

Question: Who had the urge to go home and immediately watch "A New Hope" after seeing this? Cause I know I did.

I did. Is is just me, or does George Lucas seem to have something for burning flesh? Palpatine and especially Anakin were creepy looking after the burning.

You'd only look so good if you were burnt alive, as well.

I watched episodes IV, V, and VI this week. It was interesting to see them after having seen all the prequels, but it also showed how much better they are.

I read in a book thar Palpatine was never burned -- it was, in fact, his true identity being revealed

I don't think he had the ugly face at that point.

In Shadows of the Empire it was revealed that Palpatine looked the way he did because he channeled the Dark Side so completely and utterly through himself that it ate away at his flesh. Assumedly he only got all oogly because he focused so much Dark Side energy all at once

Yeah, in Episodes I and II, whenever he was under a cloak as Darth Sidious he still has his normal face.

In addition, according extended Star Wars lore (look in the databank on the Star Wars website), Palpatine keeps a private supply of clones of himself, to transfer his spirit into, whenever his body becomes too.....oogly

Question: I saw it for a third time (don't ask, suckered into it >_>, the 3rd time is the worst), and when Palpatine and Anakin are talking in what looks like the Congreess building with all the platforms on the side, what in the hell are they watching? There's like 5 blob circle things and then what looks like a large RNA stand jumping from one to another. It must've been doing good, whatever in fact it was doing, cause people kept clapping. Couldn't Lucas come up with something better for the people of his galaxy to watch? Bantha polo? Lightsaber baseball? Anything.

There are many cases of the new movies contradicting the books. Irresponsibility on Lucas's part, I think, although most people would say that the books "don't count for anything, anyway."

Palpatine was faking his burns to gain Anakin's trust and pity, as was he faking the helpless senator facade about to be chopped up by Mace Windu. Anakin was burned in that movie, so shouldn't he have charred skin in episode six when he reveals himself? And another thing was the fact that they trashed Dooku way to early. It was odd that Anakin didn't notice that Palpatine was evil at that exact moment, but the movie would've been way too short.

The movie wasn't at all disappointing, but the old movies were better. I just really like seeing Yoda go all Kung-fu on Palpatine and Dooku's sorry butts.
