An anonymous source unconnected to the movie industry has revealed that Episode III will feature, and I quote, 'levels of suck-itude unprecedented in the history of cinema'.

Asked to comment on these allegations, George Lucas took what appeared to be a small bottle of cyanide capsules out of the pocket of his ever-present flannel shirt. He looked at the bottle for a long moment before putting it away again; he then shook his head sadly and walked off alone down the street. Eyewitnesses report he was crying.

I promised myself I wouldn't look at spoilers this time... so I won't!

I'd say Lucas is probably laughing

I don't care to look at that spoilers page, but did Lucas take that theory about why Darth Vader's on life support and make it a reality? Because I bought a box of Pop-tarts yesterday with Vader on it, the Pop-tarts are themed after lava (flame sprinkles, red icing and Pop-tart, lava related name) and it has a picture on it of Anakin and Obi-wan fighting on a platform suspended over a sea of lava.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

Hell, if I ruined one of the greatest movie series of all time, I'd choke down some cyanide without hesitation.

Dammit! Why'd you have to post the spoilers? Now I looked at them and know exactly what's coming. That's no fun.

I already read the novel, so I looked at the spoilers. They're accurate in terms of the book... pretty much.

Not to bump a stickied topic (if that's possible), but people at my school are hopeful about Episode III. Dangerously hopeful. I wonder if the movie will let them all down... but then, I'm pretty sure they're basing their hopes on the movie's special effects, which probably will be good, but won't save the movie if it's a complete disaster.

Most of these I already guessed at or assumed based on the commercials.

There's a rumor going around (in my school- so it' probably not true, I just want to confirm it with you all) that they're making 3 more Star Wars movies, and Lucas's son is directing them (does he even have a son?). I googled it and didn't come up with anything, I just want to know if anyone else has heard this BS.

There's always rumors going around about more Star Wars movies, but I haven't heard anything credible.

Lucas originally intended to make a series of nine movies... god only knows if that vision will become a reality. And if it does, I sure hope he bases the last three after Timothy Zahn's trilogy...

Saw the movie today and I thought it was excellent, especially the second half. But then, I don't hate Eps 1 and 2 the way a lot of people do....

My sources indicate that Lucas is not planning on making a third trilogy. They do indicate, however, that he's strongly considering making an hour-long Star Wars television series, detailing stories unrelated to the events of the films.

I like the way you think, but the original cast is too far gone. I say he should let other directors take their shot (not any director willy-nilly, of course) at his discretion. Like with the books.

Frankly, I want to see some movies in the Old Republican days.
