On a different note, THC <3 I've loved him since "Wings". He was superb in "Sideways". Excellent actor. Also, I'm looking forward to Topher Grace in this too. He was awesome in "In Good Company". |

| Gale/Cl 2008: All your VGF are belong to us | BAH. sandman's too lame for a main villain. I think it should have been Hobgoblin, seeing as these guys have already ruined it enough. I mean, come on, making harry Hobgoblin? everyone knows that that was none other than Roderick Kingsley! It would be the perfect ****ed up move to make all the comic book fans yell at the TV. Sandman is really a kind of stupid choice, but my rant isn't important. |

There's almost 50 years of history and villains to deal with. Coming from a Venom fan (I own the first four miniseries in mint condition), I don't want to see a Venom arc in the movies. They'd likely have to go with the Venom seen in Ultimate or the cartoon and make it completely ****ty. The dork from That 70s Show (that IMDB is claiming to be Venom) looks more like a Peter Parker replacement than Eddie Brock/Venom. Sandman has potential. There's also a ton of other villains they can and should get to before Venom. Electro, Mysterio, Jackal, Kraven, Vulture, Green Goblin II, Green Goblin III (though i wasn't a fan of Norman coming back from the "dead"), the multiple Hobgoblins, Lizard, Morbius, Scorpion, Rhino, the Synister Six. People who want Venom before any of the other villans or backstory development are the people that would force them to half-ass it and then get pissed off when the movie sucks ass. And people who want Carnage are just ****ing stupid. Carnage sucks. [ November 28, 2005, 03:08 PM: Message edited by: The Great Tyrant ] |

Personally, I think what they should do is bring out Jackal. He's a pretty decent villain, but more importantly he sets up a couple movies' worth of plot, though it takes more than a little creativity to work Gwen into it. |

What with the recent Bataman movie that came out and its take on the scarecrow and his nerve toxin. It would have been very easy to just rip off the batman movie by replacing toxic gas that showed people their fears with hologen cubes that dipslayed various scenerios of non happy images. Either way I would have loved to have seen them work in a Carnage and Venom scenerio. Though knowing hollywood, they would probably change the fact that the suit is alien in nature and some how write in like some seceret government experiement to create a super soldier suite....with only two suites actually being produced before they are either stolen by some one like.....ohhh the King Pin and then given to hired thugs, maybe a beaten down brock and crazy red headed freak named cassidy. yeah that sounds like a hollywood hackjob of a carnage and venom script I should send this to some one.... |

And good point about Mysterio, Scarecrow was so well done... high point of Batman Begins for me. Seems like if they don't start a multi-movie story arc now they won't have anything else to do next time [ November 28, 2005, 07:30 PM: Message edited by: Dusty ] |

I love the part where old bag face is exposed to his own fear toxin and he see's batman as that oily black demon looking thing.....simply gorgeous !! |

Come on, man! He's awesome! The special effects, smoke, pyrotechniques... if Hollywood decided to show some brains, they could do him justice. I mean, come on, how can you not do justice to a man so badass in the martial arts he can fight Spider-Man toe-to-toe without superpowers =p |
