It looks much better than the teaser-trailer. Not only was this the first sucessful comic-based movie, since the peak of the Batman franchise, but it was also one the first successful films based on a Marvel comic (another being Blade 1998). This made comic movies cool again. Also, since Marvel isn't bound to once studio (like DC is with Warner Bros), it is easy for a ton of Marvel-based movies to be made at one time. At the moment there are at least 5 or 6 comic movies in development including Dr Strange, The Flash, Green Hornet, Iron Man, and Wonder Women. And that's not even counting the sequels being made. |
